Martin McNamara

Martin McNamara is an award-winning writer who has scripted radio dramas, stage plays, short films and optioned feature scripts. He has also made radio documentaries, worked as a TV news producer and authored non-fiction. His background is in journalism, writing for national newspapers, magazines and news agencies, and he was a news producer for Associated Press Television News (APTN). His first full length play, The Magic Hour, was produced at the Brockley Jack in 2013. Other stage work has been performed at Theatre N16, Soho Theatre, 503 Theatre, Bread & Roses, Lion & Unicorn, The Bunker, Irish Cultural Centre, London Irish Centre, the Alphabetti Theatre in Newcastle and other theatres.
